Ballkomitee does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything you enter — tasks, rehearsal dates, classmate names, sponsor records, the ball-night run sheet, and any photos you add — stays stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us, to the developer, or to any third party.
What the app stores, and where
Ballkomitee is an offline planning tool for a school-leaving ball committee. All content you create is saved on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks (SwiftData and UserDefaults). There is no account, no sign-in, and no server component of any kind. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
- Committee data: tasks, Ressort assignments, due weeks, notes, and pins.
- Rehearsal data: dates, attendance checklists, the Polonaise pair list, and the Mitternachtseinlage running order.
- Sponsor records: business names, status, pledged amounts, and ad sizes you enter yourself.
- The ball-night run sheet and its times.
- Settings: theme, sound and haptics preferences, and reminder choices.
Photos and camera
The Ballmotto board and sponsor logo feature let you attach pictures. Photos you choose through the system photo picker, or take with the camera, are copied into the app's own storage on your device. The app never uploads a photo anywhere, never scans your photo library beyond what you explicitly pick, and never accesses the camera without your direct action.
Notifications
Rehearsal and deadline reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are generated from the dates you set inside the app and are never sent from, or reported to, a server.
Tracking, analytics and advertising
Ballkomitee contains no analytics software development kits, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind, across apps or websites owned by other companies. The app makes no network requests at all during normal use.
Children's privacy
Ballkomitee is intended for use by final-year secondary school students and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it collects no information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
